High School Referee Registration Reminder
The deadline for registering without a penalty for 2007/2008 is July 13. Unless you are registering for the first time, there is a $20 late fee for late registration after this date. The process is simple:
Officials may register online for the 2007-08 school year using the Officials link at http://www.mhsaa.net/Officials/Registration/RegBegin.htm.
If you would like to register online and do not know your password, please click this link: https://www.mhsaa.net/retrievepassword.aspx and insert your ID number (e.g. '123456')
High School Rules Meetings
If you wish to do any postseason High School tournament games you are required by the MHSAA to attend a Rules Meeting for that year. These meetings are held throughout the state in both the Fall and Spring. If you go a Fall meeting you're covered for both the Fall and Spring seasons. Usually a Soccer Referee attends a Spring meeting only because he or she missed the Fall Meetings, or you only do Girls Soccer in the Spring.
Here is a list of the meetings for 2007/2008. You just need to show up and know your ID Number:

Who are we?
The Great Lakes Soccer Association, GLASRA, is a newly formed Soccer Referee Association, serving High School and USSF Referees in metropolitan Grand Rapids, Michigan. GLASRA is committed to serving all of its member officials as equals, and to conduct its affairs in a totally transparent fashion.
High School

GLASRA is an approved Referee Association of the Michigan High School Association (MHSAA) and is primarily interested in serving officials in the Grand Rapids, Michigan, especially along the Lakeshore and North up to Big Rapids, which traditionally has not had a High School Referee Association available. To view a list of all approved associations in all sports go to www.mhsaa.net/officials/associations.aspx. All High School Referees are encouraged by the MHSAA to join a local officials organization
GLASRA is committed to providing a full three man crew for all High School Varsity games.
USSF
USSF Soccer in and around Grand Rapids has exploded over the past decade. Since its inception in 1996 the Grand Valley Soccer Association (GVSA) has expanded to nearly 400 youth teams, playing at the Select, Premier and Regional levels. While the number of officials has expanded dramatically, there has been no Referee Association to act as a resource for advice or to help officials understand and advance within USSF. GLASRA will fill this need.
How do I get more information?
Our website will expand significantly in coming weeks to provide you with all information regarding the Association. If you are interested in joining, or helping on the Board of Directors, please contact Richard Pell at 616-581-0151.
